Overlooking one of the longest main streets in Australia, the Penola Room at The Mt Gambier Hotel caters for a large variety of events and functions.

You have the option of selecting a tailored menu from either the food on offer in the Mt Gambier Hotel Bistro or 1862 Bar and Grill's degustation menu including canap├ęs, platters and we can also cater to specific dietary requirements.

The room booking fee does not apply for functions chooing both the food and beverage options and is negotiable upon consultation with management for late night events.

Located upstairs in our heritage listed hotel, the Board Room is an all in one conference room. We can tailor to your specific needs and can also prepare and serve light lunch options.

Equipped with media capabilities, antique leather chairs and an adjustable table styles, this room is the perfect environment to discuss, plan and educate teams, colleagues and business partners right in the centre of Commercial Street.
